Neel is indigo. Gulzar is garden. The kalamkari on this dress takes that literally - paisley and botanical motifs arranged across a powder-blue ground, in rose and cream and navy. The print reads differently from different distances: a field of pattern up close, a considered whole from across the room. The plain navy dupatta settles it. One decision, not several.
